Chandler Green
Chandler (he/him) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals and couples to achieve freedom and find relief from both external pressures and internal conflicts.

I have extensive expertise in the realms of mental health and substance use. My experience includes working with clients in a concierge capacity, delivering personalized and attentive care tailored to individual needs. With a history of leadership roles, I am presently a partner of a therapeutic concierge program that serves clients in both Los Angeles and San Francisco. Through my dedicated efforts, I have assisted countless families in navigating high-stress situations regarding their loved ones. I believes therapy should embody the "3 Cs": compassion, curiosity, and clarity.

I am committed to always approaching therapy from an LGBTQ+ affirmative, compassionate, and non-judgmental place. I encourage clients to develop the highest level of compassion for themselves while navigating uncomfortable and painful feelings such as shame, confusion, guilt, anger, regret, hopelessness, and feeling “not good enough.” Curiosity is a fundamental part of my work, as I encourage clients to ask questions like, ‘Why do I feel this way?’ and ‘Why do I engage in this behavior?’ By staying curious and seeking answers, I believe clients gain insight and clarity, while learning practical skills to enhance self-awareness and self-empowerment.

My orientation in psychodynamic therapy enables me to explore unconscious patterns and past experiences that influence current behaviors and emotions, fostering a profound self-understanding essential for transformative change. I complement this with DBT skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, all of which are vital for managing intense emotions and nurturing healthy relationships. My approach is designed to promote deep personal growth and provide effective skills training, helping clients navigate complex emotional landscapes and achieve lasting mental health outcomes. I help clients on their paths to self-discovery and improved well-being. Please refer to the speciality page where you can learn more about what I specialize in.

I aim to reduce suffering as much as possible while acknowledging that some level of suffering is inherent to life. I hope to create a sacred and welcoming space for therapy — a warm, safe, and collaborative environment where clients can comfortably step in and out each week, with me supporting them every step of the way.

“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
